Given the weight difference, and the fact that the power is the same - The Mustang held its own. Subarus are ugly as hell!!!

I'm honestly a little dissapointed with chrysler/dodge. Because thought the 08 09 Vipers should have come 650 hp stock instead of only 600hp. When you put this with the 09 vette zr1 636 and slightly lighter than the viper. Where does this leave the viper? Now ford is gonna be producing another supercar. Ford shelby Gr-1. this car is gonna have a lot of the ford gt's parts and come about 620hp stock. I'm real interested in knowing just when they are gonna start selling this car.

I dont think that ford is useless. They are just not paying enough attention to there competition when producing the mustang, all they need to do is make a lighter mustang model, a 2 seater version with a racing suspension plus a couple other things to make the overall weight of the cars lighter. But just use the same engine. Then and only then you will see a mustang beat other cars consistently. Me if ever get a mustang or F-150 truck. I'd buy a Saleen model from a Saleen dealership.

i think we can all agree that its mostly just ford thats useless...dodge/chrysler and gm finally got their act together.before anybody gives me thumbs down for saying that, i advise you to research gm's new cars, and quality, it is easily on par with toyota/honda in these last few years.

jesus that sti is hideous looking. who in their right mind would want a car that looks like that, it has no style. might as well buy a civic hatch for 1k if you're gonna get a car that ugly.with that said i dont like the mustang either.
