MJ would only do MJ's cross.Anything else is less effective. And you're right, Kobe cannot duplicate MJ's offense. He sure as hell loves that Hardspin Jump-Fade though. In fact, I rarely see anything else out of his repertoire when he's being defended. MJ was much more dynamic and in order to be mimmicked verbatim, he would have to have the awareness. Not just a style-tribute.Kobe simply lacks the entertainment value of players such as THard and MJ...and the greats. Baddass clip.

I'll give one example...I have never seen MJ do Kobe's crossover. Crossover just wasnt MJ's thing. So therefore Kobe does not "mimmick MJ's offense verbatim"

I used to love watching this guy play as a kid...him and Chris Jackson.

Remember he did play when MJ was almost ready to reretire? Scored 19 in his Bulls vs Lakers debut.I still agree with you tho. Plus Kobe mimmicks MJ's offense verbatim...without the defensive awareness to make him as complete as MJ - who has the steals, rebounds, and block stats Kobe will never get near.
