Two things happened that killed Metallica, 1. Mustaine was kicked out. 2. Cliff Burton died. Without Mustaine and Burton, it kin dof went down hill from there, Kikr Hammett should have stuck with Exodus.

nothing wrong with death magnetic (except the name maybe) I mean sure it's not on par with what people remember but then nothing can change a 'tallica fans nostalgic perceptions. I think I actually prefer it to the Black Album - I keep switching between the 2 albums on my way to work each day!

i agree with you dude, mustaine made great music without them, but part of me wishes he wouldve been able to stay with them.....maybe then they wouldnt of made such bad albums EX( load, reload st.anger) and changed their sound. and maybe death magnetic wouldve been better.
